Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a Pediatric Intensivist to join our organization.
Baystate Children’s Hospital is the leading provider of general and specialty pediatric services in western MA. Our 107-bed facility provides complete critical care programs, including the region’s only PICU and Level III NICU, as well as pediatric inpatient services, child life specialists, a designated emergency room just for kids, and outpatient specialty services. Additionally, Baystate Children’s Specialty Center houses 15 pediatric specialty services under one roof, with focus on care coordination, comfort and convenience for children and families.
Position Highlights –
Join our team of 5 pediatric intensivists which cares for a diverse patient population up to 22 years of age with wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses. We also provide pediatric sedation service in our state-of-the-art pediatric procedure unit and provide input to the regional critical care transport team.
Cultivate and facilitate clinical and QI research through affiliations with the Northeast PICU Consortium, PALISI Network and Solutions for Patient Safety.
We offer a combination of clinical care and resident and medical student teaching with faculty appointment the UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate. Our onsite simulation center provides fully accredited world-class medical training facilities.
Foster a culture of collaboration across service lines (trauma, pediatric surgery, pediatric EM) to care for critically ill patients regardless of their location within the hospital.

Qualifications: ABMS BC/BE in pediatrics or med/peds. Experience in attending deliveries and managing care of stable preterm and term infants. A strong commitment to collaboration, quality, and lifelong learning is essential.
